The Dutch company will transfer its experience in the
WRC races to the official team as to the standard TXT.
Gas Gas and the prestigious Dutch firm Reiger Racing
Suspension have sealed a cooperation agreement
that will allow both companies to share experiences
and work on developing a new range of high
performance shock absorbers designed for Trial.
The partnership agreement will last five seasons and
makes Gas Gas and their Trial models in the exclusive
recipients of the new shock absorber of last
generation that Reiger has created for this specialty,
whose low weight (666 grams), small size and multiple
options regulation makes it to be a unique product in
the market. For its part, Reiger will have the
experience of drivers like Adam Raga and Dougie
Lampkin to move forward in developing a technology
that not only will go to the official team but also to the
higher range of standard TXT motorbikes.
The union between the two firms will expand through
Nani Racing, Reiger importer for Spain, which will
offer an exclusive aftermarket service to Gas Gas
customers so that each damper to be fitted to suit the
conditions of use and to the characteristics of the rider
that will to be used.
Reiger Racing Suspension, based in Hengelo, was
born in 1977 preparing suspensions of motocross, but
its recognition has come as a manufacturer of shock
absorbers for the World Rally Championship and allroad
rallies like the Dakar. Created and directed by
Gerard Seesing (at the center of the photo, along with
Ramon Puente and Adam Raga), this is the first time
that the brand agrees to become a first kit provider for
a motorcycles company.
Àdam Raga
"In the short time we have been
working with the material of Reiger
we have seen how competitive it is.
This is a very light damper and,
above all, allowed a large number
of regulations that we never had at
Trial. Your experience certainly will
be a big step forward and make us
stronger in the races, but more
importantly is that provide
significant added value for our
motorbikes".
Nani Roma
"As an importer of Reiger, from
Nani Racing we believe that
collaboration with Gas Gas is very
important, first because we will
work with riders like Adam Raga
and Dougie Lampkin, but mostly
because it will serve to introduce a
new technology in the world of Trial
to through one of the biggest
names in the market. The Gas Gas
customers will discover a brand
and a material that are world rally
champions and have a spectacular
technological level".
