Last Sunday Adam Raga and his new TXT Raga finally made is debut in Gefrees (Germany), in the Trial World Championship. Nevertheless, the first round of this Outdoor season left a bittersweet taste in the Gas Gas Team after the Spaniard was left on the podium’s threshold.

The German round was marked by a section set seriously complicated by the rain fallen during the previous night. This circumstance forced riders to make the most of themselves specially in the first half of the event. In spite of that all of them saw their penalty score rise more than usuall, since every mistake meant a hughe penalty in terms of points. That was precisely Adam’s main problem. He would finish 4th after Toni Bou, Albert Cabestany and Takahisa Fujinami. His final difference of seven and eight points with Cabestany and Fujinami respectively could have well allowed him to finish in the second place of the podium, if it wasn’t for some mistakes that took away his options.

On the next weekend the Trial World Championship will have its second round on a two-day Grand Prix in Bréal-sous-Montfort (France). Adam will try to take advantage known difficulty of the races in this French scenery, to make the most of this counting event and try to move up in the general standard before the coming of the Spanish Grand Pix on the 19th of June.

"It has been a complicated race.The rain fallen during the previous hours made us make the most of ourselves and we were all accumulated many points. I’m happy because we have been able to perform brilliantly in sections that were very complicated. In spite of that I cannot be happy with the result since we made some mistakes that have been decisive. I did well on some difficult parts and not so well in others that weren’t maybe that tough. This is what we have to improve for the next weekend. Its is not that I wasn’t foccused but I may have lacked a bit of steadyness that would have allowed me finish 2nd, and that finally deprived me from the podium. The main goal in France is no to miss. About the new TXT Raga, it follows the technical evolution of the previous model and I think its look is very original. I ‘m delighted with it and I believe it will satisfy customers too".
