The Gas Gas rider reinforces the second place in
the World Championship. Pol Tarrés, third in Junior.
The second Grand Prix of the Trial World
Championship consecutive in the Iberian
Peninsula, this time in Andorra, served to confirm
the good evolution of Adam Raga with its new
Gas Gas TXT, as it managed to score another
podium and reinforce the second provisional place
in the overall standings.
The initial goal of Raga this weekend in Sant Julia
de Loria was fighting for his second win of the
season, although two premature 5 in the firsts
sections conditioned its performance. After the
first round Adam scored 19 points and the victory
was practically out of reach because Toni Bou
overcame all of the sections with only five
penalties. So, on the second lap was lived an
intense battle between Adam, Takahisa Fujinami
and Albert Cabestany for second place. Finally,
Bou would take the victory with 15 total points and
Fujinami end second with 35, six less than the
Gas Gas. This new podium consolidated Adam in
second place in the World Championship with 80
points, 15 less than Bou and with 5 in advantage
over Cabestany.
The French rider Loris Gubian finished eighth, just
ahead of Italian young talent Matteo Grattarola,
who signed a great weekend and was third in the
European Championship on Saturday. To these
results of the Gas Gas riders must be added the
Junior category, where Pol Tarres got back on the
podium and finished in third place, while Pere
Borrellas was fifth. Montecrestese will host the
Italian Grand Prix on 10 July.
