The city of Zaragoza hosted on Friday night the first race of the Trial Indoor Spanish Championship (CETI) 2011, the classic Trial of the Fiestas del Pilar, and Adam Raga was one of the most important protagonists of the evening with a spectacular dispute hand in hand for the win with the defending champion, Toni Bou.

After the first round of sections in which Raga and Bou tied at zero points, the two men more fit at this stage of the season had to break the tie in the race in parallel and Adam has been overtaken by too little. The also Gas Gas riders Pol Tarrés and Ivan Peydro completed the show in this first lap of the race. Tarrés –who debuted as a fixed riderand Peydro –who qualified through the preliminary CETI Junior round- tied on points in the fight for fourth and fifth. Finally, Pol used his experience and achieved an excellent fourth place.

The final play-off was again a close fight between Raga and Bou, with Albert Cabestany as a luxury spectator. Just an error of the Gas Gas rider in zone 2 and the parallel race prevented another tie, although the show was huge. Adam had 17 points, 7 more than Bou and 12 less than 'Cabes'.

The November 1, Girona will host the second round of CETI. This quote is pure Gas Gas territory and talisman for Raga, who will try to get a win solvent that allows it to be champion, since the third round of the championship is in the air, pending confirmation.

"Although we couldn't win, I'm happy with this first race of the CETI. We are in the same correct line we have demonstrated in the outdoor World Championship and this is important. At all times we rode with very good level and only a mistake distanced a little us Bou, who held a similar score for the entire race. Although I was one of the first to start the race, on the first lap I found very comfortable with the bike and only the parallel race prevented that we finished tied at zero points. In the play-off I made a mistake in the second zone and this was the final key. I couldn't win, but the feeling are very good and the goal now is to win in Girona and be champion, because isn't very clear that we will have a third race on the calendar".
