The second round of the Spanish Trial Championship (CET), held this past Sunday in Ibiza, was not favorable to Adam Raga, who could enter the third podium position but he had virtually no chance to fight for the victory. Better things were for Jorge Casales and Pere Borrellas, who finished sixth and seventh respectively in the absolute classification.

The Balearic Trial sections presented were not particularly difficult, although the type of very loose soil and very complicated terrain made things more difficult than expected. The key to the race was in zones 5 and 6, where Adam scored four 'fives' in the two laps. This left virtually no room for improvement for the Gas Gas rider despite no penalties in the six remaining sections, he could not get close to Toni Bou and Jeroni Fajardo, first and second respectively.

The other two Gas Gas riders in the highest category (TR1), Jorge Casales and Pere Borrellas, fought all day to be among the Top. The pair had a good performance and tied on points for fifth place, but worst score annotation relegated Casales to sixth place, while Borrellas ended seventh.

In the TR2 class missing was Laia Sanz, recovering from a knee injury. The championship of Spain holds its third round on April 15th in Lozoyuela (Madrid) and this Saturday in Paris will host the final round of X-World Trial.

"The race don’t went well. I failed more than normal and I cannot be satisfied to end in third. I have been watching things and this is not a bad result, but I cannot stay with this. At first I added a 'Five', but the worst has come later. I've made four 'Fives' not expected in only two areas and I lost my concentration. It wasn't a difficult race, but rather the otherwise, and when I started to add as many consecutive failures it has been impossible to redirect the situation. This race has never been too good for me and the ground is not favorable to our bike, but this doesn't excuse me, I am the one who has committed the failures, I did it. I have not ridden well, only two sections have been a big problem for me and I have to keep working for 2012 this not to happen".
